St. Francis Borgia Catholic School is seeking a part-time (50%) Reading Intervention Teacher (2026-27 school year) to support early literacy development in grades K5-4. This role focuses on providing targeted reading instruction to help students build strong foundational skills and grow in confidence as learners.

This teacher will work collaboratively with classroom teachers and the Student Success team to ensure all students receive the support they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide small group and targeted reading intervention aligned to student needs
  • Use data to monitor progress and adjust instruction
  • Support development of foundational literacy skills, including phonics and fluency
  • Collaborate with teachers to reinforce effective reading strategies
  • Communicate student progress with families and staff
  • Foster a positive, supportive learning environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Valid Wisconsin teaching license
  • Experience in early reading intervention preferred
  • Strong knowledge of foundational literacy and instructional best practices
  • Commitment to supporting the Catholic mission
