Summary

Holy Apostles Catholic School has an immediate opening for a part-time Playground Supervisor. The position hours would be 11:15am-1:00pm Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, per week when school is in session. The qualified candidate is responsible for overseeing the daily afternoon recess periods (outdoor or indoor) and supervising students to ensure a positive and safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises students at playtime and maintains a harmonious atmosphere by encouraging peaceful resolution of conflicts.
• Instruct recess duty volunteers on playground rules and expectations.
• Directs movement of students to and from the playground in a safe and organized manner.
• Responds to emergency situations (injured students, conflicts, etc.) for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
• Ability to work outside from August through June.

Qualifications
The qualified candidate will be committed to the values of Catholic education, have experience working with children, be driven to meet the needs of all learners and having completed, or willing, to complete the Safeguarding All God's Children certification
