We are seeking a caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic educator to join our team as a full-time Pre3 Lead Teacher. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education and understands the importance of creating a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment where our youngest learners can thrive.

This position involves planning developmentally appropriate, hands-on learning experiences that support early language development, social-emotional growth, early literacy and math readiness, and faith formation. The successful candidate will build strong relationships with students and families, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute positively to our vibrant Catholic school community.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons for 3-year-old learners
  • Create a nurturing and structured classroom environment that supports social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Foster early literacy, language, and math readiness skills through play-based and hands-on learning
  • Support students in developing independence, positive behavior, and strong social skills
  • Communicate regularly and effectively with families
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and participate in school-wide initiatives (PLCs)
  • Model Catholic values and incorporate faith-based learning experiences in age-appropriate ways

Qualifications:

  • Current State of Wisconsin teaching license (Early Childhood preferred) or ability to obtain licensure
  • Experience working with preschool or early childhood students preferred
  • Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices in early childhood education
  • Working knowledge of Google and ability to integrate technology appropriately
  • Belief that all students can learn and grow at high levels
  • Models Catholic/Christian spirituality, attitudes, and behaviors (practicing Catholic preferred)
  • Professional, positive, and collaborative approach with colleagues and families
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Passionate, nurturing team player with a positive attitude
