Description

St. John the Evangelist Catholic School is seeking a Middle School Social Studies/ Literacy Teacher who will create a safe, faith-filled, and engaging classroom environment that fosters the academic, spiritual, social, and emotional growth of every student.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, teaching, and assessing middle school students in grades 5-8 Social Studies and 5th-grade Literacy while integrating Catholic values throughout the curriculum. This teacher will collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student success and contribute to the vibrant life of our school community.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will:

  • Support the mission and values of Catholic education
  • Hold a valid Wisconsin teaching license (or be eligible for licensure)
  • Have a passion to work with middle school students
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be organized and dependable
  • Effectively plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and faith-filled classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated and supportive staff
