Pius XI Catholic High School is seeking two Summer School Math Teachers to teach Pre-Algebra as part of our Summer Bridge program. Pius XI is the most diverse Catholic high school in the state of Wisconsin and is committed to providing every student with an education that prepares them for college, career, and a life of purpose.

The Summer Bridge program is designed to support students as they prepare for the transition into high school by strengthening foundational academic skills and building confidence for success in the classroom.

Position Details
Program: Summer Bridge
Course: Pre-Algebra
Positions Available: Two (2)
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, July 13 – August 6
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Compensation: $40.00 per hour
Responsibilities
• Teach Pre-Algebra concepts to support students’ readiness for high school mathematics
• Create supportive and engaging classroom environments
• Provide clear instruction and practice opportunities that build foundational math skills
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to support improvement
• Communicate effectively with students and program staff
• Support the mission and values of Pius XI Catholic High School
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university required
• Wisconsin DPI teaching license preferred (candidates without licensure may be considered if they demonstrate strong mathematics content knowledge)
• Experience teaching mathematics and working with adolescent learners preferred
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
