Position Summary

St. Bruno's Parish School is seeking a warm, energetic, and faith-filled K3 Aide to support our early childhood classroom. This role assists the lead teacher while helping young students build self-help and daily living skills in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher with preparing lessons and instructional materials
• Support instructional learning tasks, including working with small groups or one-on-one with students
• Supervise students during recess to ensure safety and positive play
• Help children develop self-help skills, including restroom use, hand washing, and lunchtime routines
• Assist with transitions between activities throughout the school day
• Model and share the Catholic faith with children in daily interactions
• Support the teacher in maintaining a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with children in a group setting (classroom, daycare, or similar)
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Energetic and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
• Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively with the lead teacher
• A sunny, positive disposition
• A genuine love for sharing the Catholic faith with children
