Varsity Baseball Head Coach - Dominican High School, Whitefish Bay, WI

Dominican High School is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Varsity Baseball Head Coach to lead our baseball program beginning with the 2027 spring season.

This is an exciting opportunity for a coach who is committed to developing student-athletes both on and off the field. The successful candidate will build upon Dominican's baseball tradition while fostering leadership, sportsmanship, skill development, teamwork, and a strong commitment to academic excellence.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with high school student-athletes and a strong knowledge of the fundamentals, strategies, and development of the game.

The Varsity Baseball Head Coach will be an important member of the Dominican community and will have the opportunity to help shape the continued growth and success of the baseball program.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

The successful candidate will:

• Lead and develop a competitive and cohesive varsity baseball program.
• Create a positive, structured, and supportive team environment.
• Develop student-athletes' skills, knowledge, confidence, and character.
• Promote academic achievement, sportsmanship, accountability, and personal responsibility.
• Collaborate effectively with assistant coaches, athletic department staff, school administration, and other Dominican coaches.
• Establish a clear vision for the continued growth and development of the baseball program.
• Develop positive relationships with student-athletes, families, school personnel, and the broader Dominican community.
• Maintain a strong commitment to the mission and values of Dominican High School.
• Ensure compliance with WIAA regulations and Dominican High School policies and procedures.
• Manage the day-to-day responsibilities associated with the baseball program, including practices, competitions, team communication, and program organization.
• Work collaboratively with the Athletic Director and administration to ensure a safe, positive, and educational athletic experience for all student-athletes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous high school or collegiate baseball coaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of baseball fundamentals, strategy, and player development.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a coaching staff and school personnel.
• Demonstrated commitment to the academic, athletic, and personal development of student-athletes.
• Experience developing a cohesive program and positive team culture.

Compensation

Compensation will follow the Dominican High School co-curricular salary schedule.
