St. Cecilia's Day Organ Concert

A Monumental Concert Experience

Titled “A Journey of Organ & Choral Masterpieces,” the afternoon program bridges two distinct musical eras. It highlights the timeless counterpoint of Johann Sebastian Bach alongside the groundbreaking 20th-century sacred compositions of renowned Milwaukee composer and organist Sr. Theophane Hytrek, OSF (1915–1992).

The concert features area singers, organists, and instrumentalists bringing rich choral harmonies, a delicate flute sonata, and the grand voice of the pipe organ to the luminous acoustics of the chapel.
