Two thousand years ago, two poor fishermen were searching for the meaning of their lives. They were introduced to a carpenter from Nazareth who asked them, “What do you seek?”
Knowing he was special, they replied, “Teacher, where are you staying?”
“Come and see,” He said.
Each of us spends our life searching for meaning, purpose, and fulfillment. We seek it out in relationships, in material goods, and in various causes and movements. Perhaps you’ve noticed that no matter how good the friendship, how worthy the cause, how exciting the thing – we are still left wanting more, our desires left unfulfilled. And so we continue seeking the One Thing that will truly satisfy us.
That One Thing is Jesus Christ: the Preacher from Nazareth; the Son of God; the One they hung on a tree. Throughout the centuries, millions have found solace, peace, and fulfillment in Him. And Jesus, through His Church, offers you that same solace, peace, and fulfillment.
No matter your background or beliefs - if you are seeking, if you are restless, if you are weary, we invite you to come and see what following Jesus is about.
