Nullity Process (Annulments)

A declaration of nullity by the church, or as it is more commonly called, an annulment, is an acknowledgment that a particular couple never achieved a full marriage commitment.

Ordinary and Briefer Processes

There are two types of nullity processes, the Ordinary Process and the Briefer Process. The difference between the processes is the length of time and procedural method. Procesos Ordinarios e Abreviados

Those wishing to pursue a declaration of Nullity (annulment) will need to fill out an application.

This is the required document that begins the formal process of reviewing a marriage.

You are encouraged to save a copy of the form to your computer before you fill it out.

You can type directly into this PDF form. However, to save the data that you enter you must use at least Adobe Acrobat Reader version 9 or higher. If you use an older version of Acrobat Reader you are limited to entering the data and printing. Get the latest version here.
