As the weather warms up this spring, we understand that families that have purchased headstones over the last seveal months will be anxious to not only see their memorial, but will be curious as to when it will be installed.
Our cemeteries have hundreds of new stones to set, and each one involves a multi-step process. Interment schedules, staffing, ground and weather conditions at each cemetery all play a role in these processes.
It is our sincerest intention to have these headstones installed with the utmost care and highest quality work as soon as possible. We ask you to please be patient with us and the process, and encourage you to contact the individual cemetery where your headstone is being installed for specific details. Every cemetery faces different challenges and we are striving to overcome those obstacles every day.
We thank you for your patience and look forward to installing your headstone!
The Catholic Cemeteries are here for you to help celebrate mom on her special day!
We want to be certain to make your visit a pleasant one, so please contact the individual cemetery/cemeteries you wish to visit for special staff availability and office hours on that day.
As always, feel free to contact us at any time for any questions or concerns you may have.
Wishing you and your families a blessed and meaningful Mother's Day!
In line with our commitment to provide you with the best service possible, we will be closing all office locations on Wednesday, May 15th for the entire day to accommodate an all-staff, all-day training session.
Indoor mausoleums will be open for visitation from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM as usual but office staff will not be available. We will also not be performing any interment services that day.
Please contact your cemetery directly with any questions or concerns.
The ministry of these Catholic Cemeteries is the work of consolation as our part of the ministry of Christ
As you visit our cemeteries, we would like to remind you that the Archdiocese of Milwaukee Catholic Cemeteries (AOMCC) crews clean every cemetery and mausoleum as regularly as possible aside from our regular Fall and Spring cleaning dates to remove and discard decorations not in compliance with decoration policies. Anything not in a vase or growing in the ground near graves, and anything placed on a crypt or niche front not purchased through AOMCC is considered a violation and will be removed in time. For further details on our policies, please contact the cemetery office where you wish to do your decorating and please review our Visitation and Decoration Policy brochure.
