St. Mary Parish School is seeing a K5 Instructional Aide for the 2024-2025 school year. The K5 Instructional Aide plays a vital role in supporting the educational needs of K5 students. This position focuses on assisting the classroom teacher, helping to facilitate student learning, and creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist the kindergarten teacher in implementing lesson plans and activities, supporting whole-class and small-group instruction.
Enthusiasm, energy, and passion for working with early childhood students.
Prepare instructional materials and maintain a well-organized classroom environment.
Communicate regularly with teachers, collaborate with staff, and contribute to a positive learning atmosphere.
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills with students, parents, and staff.
High School Diploma required; Associate's/Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred.
Preferably holds Early Childhood and Special Education credentials or has relevant experience.
Completion or willingness to complete Safe Environment Education certification.
Committed to meeting the diverse needs of all learners.
