Qualifications

As a Kindergarten teacher at Burlington Catholic, candidates are required to: 

• have a valid teaching license to teach Kindergarten or a willingness to complete a plan of study to gain appropriate licensure
• have background / training in the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards (WMELS) or a willingness to be trained
• have experience working with students at the primary age
• create student-driven, age appropriate lessons and centers that follow the Archdiocesan exit expectations
• have a willingness to collaborate with colleagues 
• have strong communication skills
• be comfortable with implementing technology in one’s teaching and / or willingness to learn 
• have certification in (or willingness to get) Safeguarding All God’s People
