We are searching for a creative and energetic part-time Music teacher to join our amazing teaching staff. Applicants must possess the necessary certifications, knowledge, skills, and dispositions to demonstrate thorough planning, deliver engaging instruction, facilitate formative and summative assessments aligned with Archdiocesan standards, and participate in professional activities. Our Music teacher would teach K4-8th grade students.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Safeguarding certification in (or willingness to get) Safeguarding All God’s People
Excellent skills in general music education
Experience working with students at the elementary to middle school age
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Ability to create student-driven, age-appropriate lessons that follow the Archdiocesan standards
Ability to creatively problem-solve
Ability to demonstrate a high level of professional, ethical, and confidential behavior
Willingness to be flexible and collaborate with colleagues
Ability to plan, execute concert logistics, and direct student concerts
Wisconsin Teaching License preferred (Persons with a background in education or related fields are encouraged to apply)
Piano proficiency is preferred but not required
