Synod Declaration September 14
MILWAUKEE -- Archbishop Jerome E. Listecki will reveal his vision for the direction of the Catholic Church in southeastern Wisconsin this Sunday, September 14, 2014, when he shares the Synodal Declaration with Catholics during the 8 a.m. Mass from the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, Milwaukee.
The Declaration is based on the votes of hundreds of parish delegates who participated in the 2014 Archdiocesan Synod held this past June. It was the first Synod held in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee in more than 25 years.
After three months of reflection and review by the archbishop, Catholics will learn which pastoral priorities will guide the work of their Church for the next 10-15 years.
