Common Core State Standards (CCSS) are a set of learning goals for grades K-12 focusing on college and career readiness that have been adopted in 46 states and over 100 Catholic dioceses across the country. They were written to ensure that American students have the opportunity to reach the same levels of academic performance as students in the highest performing countries in the world.
