Please join us for a morning of reflection and prayer as we explore the corporal and spiritual impact of the Holy Year of Mercy and our response as African Heritage People---a Lenten Day of Reflection---on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 8:30 am to1:00 pm at St. Margaret Mary Parish, 3970 N. 92nd Street (92nd and Capitol Drive) in Milwaukee.
Fr. James Kobina Arthur, STD originally from Ghana, West Africa, currently serving as a priest in the Diocese of LaCrosse, will serve as our facilitator as we explore:
How our cultural perspectives shape our responses during this Holy Year of Mercy,
How our spiritual responses are impacted by our cultural understanding of Mercy,
How we live out our Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy.
A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Donations are welcome: $10 individual and $20 family.
