Advancement Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate logistics for Advancement events, including managing guest lists, preparing materials, assisting with setup, and providing on-site support

  • Support donor stewardship through timely and accurate donation processing and acknowledgment letter generation

  • Maintain the donor database by entering gifts, updating records, and generating reports

  • Assist with Advancement marketing and communications: prepare print and email communications, update the website, and contribute to event promotion and digital engagement

  • Support the Advancement team in coordinating mailings, appeals, donor acknowledgments, and solicitations

  • Provide administrative support to the President and VP of Advancement, including scheduling, managing calendars, preparing correspondence, and organizing materials

  • Maintain inventory of printed materials and supplies, including management of postage meter

  • Greet guests and assist with meeting preparation as needed

  • Other duties as assigned to support Advancement efforts

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Minimum of 1 year of professional or internship experience in development, marketing, event planning, or office administration

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office; experience with donor management systems, Adobe InDesign, or Photoshop a plus
