Art Teacher

St. Matthias Parish School is seeking a part-time Art Teacher for grades K4-8.  The ideal candidate is an effective and confident educator with strong classroom management skills.  

Our mission: Faith First – Educating children while building a Catholic Foundation that instills Christian values.

 

The teacher will:

  • Oversee the instruction of Art to grades K4-8
  • Create daily lesson plans
  • Work collaboratively with other faculty and staff
  • Create a positive and safe learning atmosphere for all students
  • Maintain open communication with parents and administration

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Strong classroom management
  • Ability to create lesson plans 
  • Ability to creatively problem-solve
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of professional, ethical, and confidential behavior
  • Strong communication skills
  • Wisconsin Teaching License preferred (Persons with a background in education or related fields are encouraged to apply)
  • Practicing Catholic preferred
