Duties and Responsibilites:
Greet people at Door/Phones: Answer/direct incoming calls and emails
Assist parishioners with Mass Intentions according to parish, diocesan and Church policies
Register new families and members
Update parishioner records and maintaining the parish database
Prepare Petitions and books for masses
Recording of all Sacramental information in the appropriate books/registers
Work with the Deacons to register and schedule baptisms along with baptism prep sessions
Sending notifications to parishes regarding Sacramental information
Translating English/Spanish for bulletin articles, flyers, documents, etc
Works with the Director of Faith Formation: maintaining records for Faith Formation and OCIA (registration, payments and collection pertaining documents)
General secretarial duties for the pastor and staff members
Performs other duties and responsibilites as assigned
Qualifications
High School degree of equivalent
Must have knowledge of and skill in using computers and word processing
Must have proficient typing skills
Must have ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters
Previous expierence in a parish setting preferred
Must be able to multi-task efficiently and accurately
Must complete Archdiocese "Safegurading All God's Family" program prior employment, unless already certified
Practicing Catholic preferred
