Vision for the education and formation of our students is rooted in The Holy See’s Teaching on
Catholic Schools, as overseen by Archbishop J. Michael Miller, CSB, Secretary of the
Congregation for Catholic Education, as well as the traditional methods of instruction in Catholic
Liberal Education.
Development (Advancement)
- Plans, manages and implements fundraising initiatives, including existing events such as
the Legacy Dinner.
- Oversee and develop ideas for new fundraising efforts. This includes prospect
identification and solicitation, gift processing, acknowledgements and stewardship.
- Manage grant writing to support priority projects identified by the Principal and Pastor.
- Serve as school liaison to the School Advisory Commission
Admissions and Enrollment
- Develop recruitment and retention marketing strategy plan, including admissions content
and materials on website.
- Plan and implement a comprehensive admissions program including open house events,
campus tours and student shadowing.
- Schedule and coordinate tours and appointments with prospective families, in
collaboration with the Principal.
- Oversee handling of application process including tracking submissions and
communicating final admission decisions and offer letters to applicant families.
- Oversee reenrollment for current families.
- Manage smooth transition as applicants convert to enrolled students.
Communications
-Communicate the mission of the school to existing and prospective families.
- Responsible for developing and implementing a communication and marketing strategy
to promote St. Jerome Parish School.
- Produce The Lion’s Roar, the weekly communication for parents, in collaboration with
the Principal.
- Represent St. Jerome Parish School at community events.
- Work with Home and School Association to promote activities to the parent population.
- Oversee content for school website and social media platforms.
Qualifications
Requirements
- Must be a faithful practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Previous experience in marketing and/or recruitment preferred.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and communication abilities.
- Attentive listener with the ability to respond to questions asked by prospective parents.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the position.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, and efficiently as an individual.
- Proficiency in computers, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
- Knowledge of, or a willingness to learn FACTS, the school’s student information system.
- Working knowledge of basic office procedures and the operation of office equipment and
machines
