Position Summary:
The Finance/Bookkeeper is responsible for overseeing financial documentation, bookkeeping, and audit preparation specifically related to the SNSP program. This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting or bookkeeping experience, familiarity with nonprofit or school finance practices, and a desire to contribute meaningfully to Catholic education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records related to the SNSP program
- Prepare and organize documentation for annual audits and program reviews
- Track SNSP income and expenditures, ensuring alignment with program requirements
- Collaborate with school administration to ensure proper financial reporting and compliance
- Assist with budget preparation and variance tracking specific to the SNSP program
- Generate reports for state submissions and internal review
- Ensure financial practices meet all DPI (Department of Public Instruction) regulations for SNSP
- Communicate with external auditors and state agencies as needed
