Job Summary:
The Head Rugby Coach is responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive Rugby program that is aligned with the overall mission of Divine Savior Holy Angels and the Divine Savior Holy Angels Athletic Department. The Head Coach will also oversee the entire program and coaching staff.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
Position requires a high school diploma
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
The qualified candidate should have previous rugby coaching experience, preferably at the varsity level. To succeed at the high school level, the Head Rugby Coach must understand the importance of education-based athletics, be able to communicate clearly and respectfully with young student-athletes, and their families, and be able to create a coaching staff that will work well together and enlist their help to run a successful program at the JV and Varsity levels. The candidate must also have a strong commitment to the academic achievement of student-athletes, good communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work respectfully with students, parents, administrators, and faculty.
