The Middle School Science and Social Studies Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging, standards-based instruction to middle school students while integrating Catholic values into daily teaching. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with adolescents, knowledgeable in both content areas, and committed to supporting the intellectual, moral, and spiritual development of students.
Key Responsibilities

Teach middle school science and social studies courses aligned with state and archdiocesan standards

Develop lesson plans that incorporate hands-on learning, critical thinking, and inquiry-based instruction, including science lab lessons

Integrate Catholic teachings and values into classroom instruction and school life

Assess student learning through a variety of formative and summative assessments

Create a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment

Collaborate with fellow teachers, support staff, and administration to enhance curriculum and instruction

Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and classroom expectations
