Middle School Science

  • Faith Integration and Spiritual Leadership

    • Foster a Christ-centered classroom environment aligned with Catholic teachings.

    • Incorporate prayer, liturgy, and religious values into daily lessons and interactions.

  • Curriculum Planning and Instruction

    • Develop and deliver engaging, standards-based lessons across core subjects (e.g., math, language arts, science, and social studies).

    • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs and learning styles.

  • Classroom Management and Student Development

    • Establish a positive, respectful, and structured learning environment.

    • Promote students’ academic, social, and emotional growth with age-appropriate strategies.

  • Collaboration and Communication

    • Work closely with parents, colleagues, and administration to support student learning and development.

    • Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and school events.

  • Assessment and Record Keeping

    • Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and guide instruction.

    • Maintain accurate records of student performance and behavior.

  • Professional and Faith-Based Growth

    • Engage in ongoing professional development and catechetical training as required by the diocese.

    • Model Christian values in both professional and personal conduct

Qualifications

  • The qualified candidate must demonstrate an enthusiasm for teaching.

  • The qualified candidate must be a faith-filled, practicing Christian.

  • The qualified candidate must effectively implement instructional best practices and strategies to meet the learning styles and needs of all students. Experience in early elementary education is strongly preferred.

  • The qualified candidate will have strong skills in communication, including the ability to exchange information on multiple levels (e.g., students, teachers, administrators, and parents).

  • The qualified candidate will be comfortable using a wide variety of technology for instruction, communication, and collaboration. Proficiency in Google platforms is preferred.

  • The qualified candidate possesses the highest degree of professionalism.

  • The qualified candidate has completed Safeguarding All God’s Family training (Archdiocese of Milwaukee) and a background check.

  • The qualirfied candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree and one of the following:

    • Wisconsin teacher license

    • Willingness to complete 12 semester hours of credit in teacher education from an accredited institution.
