We are looking for someone who likes working with people and is detail oriented. You will be the first person welcoming all who visit the parish office.
Main Duties include:
Greeting people that come to the office and direct them as needed.
Answering the phone and taking messages or forwarding calls.
Checking email, sorting mail and assisting with requests.
Inventory and order supplies for the parish office.
Maintain the parish calendar through Google calendar.
Update St. Mary’s events on the Tri parish and Archdiocese web calendars.
Work with families and the Pastor to collect data and schedule, weddings, baptisms and funerals.
Work with funeral home and cemetery to coordinate funeral details.
Record historical data for sacraments and census records.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
One to three years office or customer service experience required.
Active participant in the work of the Catholic Church, preferred.
Comfortable with using various computer programs and office equipment.
Proficient typing skills at or above 50 wpm.
