Part Time Music Teacher

Lumen Christi Catholic School, a high performing exemplary suburban school, is currently seeking a part time music teacher beginning in August 2025.

 

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering quality lesson plans and curriculum that adhere to the national music standards for grades 4K-8th grade. You will also be responsible for accurately evaluating student performance and providing feedback to students. This is a part time position from 7:30am-11:30am, the days of the week are flexible.

Qualifications

Holds or is eligible to obtain a current and valid Wisconsin Teaching License

Has the ability to be flexible and adaptable

Maintains a positive and safe learning environment

Demonstrates effective communication skills

Has a background in current teaching strategies, and can incorporate innovative strategies to differentiate and scaffold for students with varying skill levels

Collaborates with peers and approaches challenges with a solution-orientated mindset.

Proficient at engaging and motivating students 

 

Able to interact with others effectively, follow directions and initiate activities independently
