Science Teacher for the 2024-2025 School Year

We are looking for a highly motivated educator who is committed to engaging and inspiring students in the fields of engineering and science. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with adolescents, a collaborative approach to teamwork, and an eagerness to contribute to a science department that is looking to become a leader among schools in the area. 

The Science Teacher will be responsible for instructing the following courses:

  • PLTW Civil Engineering and Architecture

  • PLTW Principles of Engineering

  • Physical Science Laboratory Investigations in Forensics

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required

  • DPI licensure preferred, though unlicensed candidates with demonstrated subject expertise and a commitment to pursuing licensure will be considered

  • Strong background in science, math, and technology education

  • Experience in managing and coordinating educational programs

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proven ability to engage and support students with varying academic abilities
