Key Responsibilities: 

• Behavioral Support & Positive Classroom Culture: Support students’ behavioral development and work with teachers to foster positive classroom environments and a school-wide culture of respect, inclusivity, and community, rooted in the Catholic faith. 
• Social-Emotional Development Instruction: Teach a monthly class to students in grades K5-8 focused on social-emotional learning topics, promoting friendship, kindness, and personal growth, all within a Catholic foundation and lens. Continue development of these topics in one-on-one and small group settings as needed. 
• Family and Student Support: Provide guidance and support for students and families regarding social-emotional development, friendships, conflict resolution, and other related topics. 
• Oversee Learning Support Programs & Collaboration with Families and Teachers: Lead and manage the school’s Learning Support initiatives, ensuring alignment with student needs and academic goals. Partner with families and Learning Support teachers to create, review, and implement individualized student learning plans, ensuring appropriate accommodations and interventions are in place to support academic student success. 
• Extracurricular Program Liaison: Serve as the liaison between the school and extracurricular programming (e.g., athletics, strings, school musical, scouts), ensuring seamless integration of student support across all school activities. 
• Serve on Leadership Team: Work closely with the school principal and other members of the leadership team, reporting on student support initiatives and collaborating on academic student support and social-emotional learning strategies to meet the needs of all students. 
• Professional Development: Develop and deliver professional development opportunities for faculty and staff related to best practices in student support, differentiation in the classroom, and social-emotional learning.
