Student Services Coordinator

Core Resonsibilities

  • Collaborate with pastor, principal, staff, and leadership in the implementation of the parish/school mission.
  • Create a quarterly student support plan for HA with goals and measures of success.
  • Serve as the point of contact for students needing additional support and develop individual success plans in collaboration with staff and families.
  • Develop and implement school-wide programs focused on social-emotional learning, positive behavior, and student wellness.
  • Promote students’ behavioral growth by collaborating with teachers to cultivate positive, respectful and inclusive classroom environments.
  • Provide direct support and guidance to students and families in areas such as social-emotional development, conflict resolution and peer relationships.
  • Deliver monthly SEL lessons and small group/one on one support to students in grades PK3-8, on themes such as kindness, friendship, respect and personal development through a Catholic lens.
  • Serve as an active member of the school leadership team, working closely with the principal to share updates on student support services.
  • Design and facilitate professional development opportunities for teachers and staff, focused on best practices in student support, classroom differentiation and social-emotional learning rooted in Catholic virtues/values.
  • Meets the expectations provided in the faculty/staff handbook

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in the field of teacher education or related field
  • Experience in educational leadership, student support, counseling, or teaching.
  • Current State of WI teaching license or eligible for such certification
  • Knowledge of Catholic educational principles and a commitment to fostering a Catholic, respectful learning environment.
  • Ability to support and promote the teachings of the Catholic church. principles and carry out their responsibilities within a Catholic Parish and School
  • Completed Safeguarding All God's Children certification class
