Seton Catholic Schools is the Archdiocese of Milwaukee’s model for K-8 parish schools in Greater Milwaukee. The Seton Family of Catholic Schools will serve over 3500 students at our 15 schools and we plan to grow to over 20 schools serving more than 5000 students. Role Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Manager is a key role at Seton Catholic Schools with responsibility for sourcing, attracting, and hiring mission aligned talent that will positively impact the academic and faith formation of all our students. We are seeking a relationship driven professional to lead proactive talent recruitment, selection, and engagement initiatives within our network. The Talent Acquisition Manager will develop, refine, and execute sourcing, outreach, marketing, recruitment, and selection practices to identify, attract, and hire high quality teachers and staff who are aligned with our Catholic values for all of the Seton schools. She/he will develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified educators through university and other partner relationships. Our people are the most important resource for our students’ success and the Talent Acquisition Manager is key to hiring the best people!

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Proactively source, identify, and recruit qualified and mission aligned candidates for all positions throughout Seton
  • Create and implement Teacher and EA sourcing and recruitment strategies as well as selection criteria to ensure high quality personnel are in place to meet instructional, faith formation, and overall organizational goals.
  • Initiate, develop, and maintain partnerships with Catholic and other colleges and universities, non-profits, and other relevant organizations to build a pipeline of talent to fulfill current and future staffing needs. Deliver compelling presentations to relevant parties.
  • Serve as ambassador of Seton Catholic Schools to actively engage relevant external groups to create awareness of our role in urban Catholic education in Milwaukee.
  • Responsible for employee recruitment marketing to attract high quality talent; to include social media, websites, marketing materials and other recruitment initiatives.
  • Manage all job postings and ensure posting on all relevant platforms.
  • Review applications to determine which candidates to move forward in the hiring process, conduct initial interviews to understand a candidate’s skills, knowledge, motivations, and fit with the mission of Seton Catholic schools as well as ability to fulfill expectations of roles.
  • Manage and own interview process with school leaders, supervisors, and academic leadership for all candidates throughout the hiring process.
  • Create and maintain a database of all candidates throughout the hiring process including maintaining candidate files.
  • Conduct reference checks.
  • Write and extend verbal and written offers as well as serving as the main point of contact for all applicants through the entire hiring process through hire and beyond as needed.
  • Drive the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Find and attend job fairs, and recruitment and networking events.
  • Develop systems to use data to drive and track the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and devise data-driven solutions to improve recruitment and sourcing of candidates.
  • Serve as a support in employee recruitment, retention, and development initiatives.
  • Support events for internal and external stakeholders representing Seton.
  • Work with network leaders to ensure sourcing, recruitment, and selection process is inclusive and values the diversity of our staff, students, and families as well as Seton’s values and Catholic identity.
  • Other duties as assigned.
     

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Maintain a professional working relationship with all staff and external partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative on employee recruitment, retention, and development.
  • Conduct all written and verbal communication in a timely, cordial, and professional manner.
  • Manage multiple priorities and establish an efficient, flexible schedule to achieve all responsibilities of role.
  • Ability to manage day-to-day work as well as strategic and analytical work.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, professional demeanor, and track record of building strong relationships.
  • Demonstrated interest in promoting academic excellence and faith formation in the education sector.
  • 3-5 years of previous experience in recruitment, human resources, or instructional leadership.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and extended workdays as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Physical Demands: This position requires physical skills that will allow the employee to work in a typical office setting, such as standing, sitting, talking and listening on the phone, and moving between offices and buildings. The ability to drive a car and travel between schools is essential. The employee must occasionally lift and move boxes and supplies up to 20 pounds.
