Local, Life-Changing Mission Trips for Middle and High School Youth

Love Begins Here (LBH) helps middle and high school teens encounter Jesus Christ through a week of local service lived in a joyful, Catholic community. Inspired by the life and witness of St. (Mother) Teresa of Calcutta, LBH invites teens to serve those in need in their own homes and communities, thus continuing Christ's work on earth.

Help out at a food pantry, paint a fence, or plant a garden during the day. Follow that up with ice cream, swimming, prayer, and a ton of fun while making friends with teens from all over the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.

Love Begins Here Missions

Love Begins Here launched on June 21, 2009 by the Diocese of Madison inspired by the works and teachings of St. Teresa of Culcutta. Since then it has expanded to the Diocese of Green Bay (2017) and here to Milwaukee in 2021. While part of a larger mission family, Love Begins Here: Milwaukee is run by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee to serve our local community. To this date, 505 student missionaries have given over 10,000 hours of service to those in need!
