Homemade Masks
Archdioces of Milwaukee Print Logo

Archbishop Listecki invites all who have the gift of sewing and crafting to make homemade face masks for our local health care systems.  Please review the chart below to find the closest health care system to your home and see how you can help.

We are all in this together.

Keep in mind the following before you begin to make masks:

Work with the supplies you have at home. Do Not go shopping for supplies.
Do not make masks for donation if there is anyone in your home who smokes.
Do not make masks for donation if there is anyone in your home who has tested positive for COVID-19.
Do not make masks for donation if there is anyone in your home who has any symptoms of any respiratory illness.
Prewash fabric, wash your hands and work in a clean environment.
Follow all donation instructions. Each healthcare system has their own specific donation requirements.
Follow the pattern instructions provided by each healthcare system. Eeach healthcare system has their own specific pattern.
Do not try on masks you intend to donate.

If you have the ability to make PPE Faceshields please contact the closest health care system to your home to discuss this possible donation before you start to create.
