Visit the Imprisoned

The Archdiocese of Milwaukee has been supporting families of the incarcerated for the past eight years through the Office for Hispanic Ministry. Inspired by our faith and the Beatitudes, Bienaventurados Ministry is dedicated to bringing comfort, strength, mercy and hope to the families of the incarcerated, helping them realize that they are not alone, and that God has not forgotten them.

Since most of us are not able to visit an imprisoned, we encourage you to support their families. Here are a few alternatives to support Bienaventurados Ministry:

Donations

• School supplies for the children
• Gas cards to facilitate visits to loved ones in prison
• Food certificates/gift cards from local grocers
• Craft and art materials and educational games
• Monetary donations to defray costs of collect calls from prisons
• Stamps and greeting cards for mailing to the prisoners
