Lenten Luncheons with Archbishop Listecki
2020 marks Catholic Charities' 100 Years of Service, and we would love to celebrate with you at our four Lenten Luncheons throughout southeast Wisconsin. At each luncheon, Archbishop Listecki will be presenting the Treasures of the Church Awards to individuals and organizations that are committed to working towards the common good. You will find registration and sponsorship information for the Greater Milwaukee, Lake Country, Tri-County South, and Sheboygan / Fond du Lac area Lenten Luncheons here: https://www.ccmke.org/Lenten-Luncheon Catholic Charities programs and services benefit from the dollars raised through individual and business sponsorships, which are secured for each event.

UrbanInitiativeMKE -It’s what’s happening in the Archdiocese!
God calls us as individuals – and as a faith community – to a loving attentiveness to the sacredness of every person. UrbanInitiativeMKE, a ministry of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, helps us all live out that call in the central city of Milwaukee by our steadfast presence in times of crisis through our Catholic Emergency Response Team (CERT), or through providing free laundry through our LaundryLoveMKE initiative, or collaborating to provide pregnancy and parenting services to increase high school retention.  Our most ambitious initiative is to create a community hub in the heart of the 53206 zip code to help empower people to reach their God given dignity through making our services visible and accessible to those who need them the most.

Any parish or organization interested in learning more about the new and exciting initiatives that are happening in Urban Ministry in the Archdiocese should contact Anne Haines at hainesa@archmil.org. We are booking speaking engagements for the 2020 calendar year.
