Eat, Drink and Be Catholic – October 30
Eat, Drink and Be Catholic offers women and men of all ages a casual opportunity to explore the Catholic faith. We provide a space for intellectual, relational and spiritual growth. Our hope is that at the end of each evening, individuals not only know more but are also inspired and empowered to live out what our faith celebrates and teaches. Adults of all ages are invited to Boswell Book Company (2559 N Downer Ave. Milwaukee, WI 53211) on Wednesday, October 30 at 7:00pm.  Milwaukee author Jon M. Sweeney will be talking about his new book, St. Francis of Assisi: His Life, Teachings, and Practice (forward by Richard Rohr, OFM), and why St. Francis is the world’s most popular saint, not only for Catholics, but for Muslims, Buddhists, agnostics, spiritual independents, and people of native spiritual paths.  Please RSVP to Chad Griesel at grieselc@archmil.org or call 414-271-6180.

Divorce Support Group
Divorce affects most every family in some way. Divorce is a major life event, spiritually, emotionally and physically. How do we find peace, meaning and purpose after divorce? How do we find personal healing and hope? We can gain wisdom and comfort from traveling this tender time of life with others. St. Anthony on the Lake in Pewaukee welcomes you to join us for this opportunity to gather with others to find direction, help and God’s healing love. The group will be facilitated by Dr. Doug Meske and Dr. Kathie Amidei, on Oct 10, 17, 31, Nov 7, 21, Dec 5, 19, at 6:45-8:15pm. The $50 fee includes a book. If you feel this group would be helpful for you or someone you know please contact Maureen Michaels at michaelsm@stanthony.cc to register.
