Theological Reflection and Study Guide
Two of the main priorities discerned at the 2014 Archdiocesan Synod were Evangelization and the Sunday Mass. The Gift of Sunday, theological reflection along with the study guide, connect directly to these priorities.
The Gift of Sunday is a theological reflection published with the ecclesiastical approval of Archbishop Jerome E. Listecki, for use in catechesis and prayerful reflection with the People of God in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.
The theological reflection is accompanied by a study guide that can be used for personal study or for a small group discussion. It includes outlines for five sessions.

Wednesday, February 17, 2021 English and Spanish to be handed out by parishes on Ash Wednesday
Wednesday, March 3, 2021 – 7-8:30 p.m. Taking place at 18 parishes throughout the archdiocese. Catholic high schools will also be holding missions throughout Lent during the school day. These missions are based off of The Gift of Sunday Theological Reflection.
Wednesday, March 24, 2021 Taking place at parishes throughout the archdiocese
April 3 and 4, 2021 English and Spanish booklets distributed by parishes on Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday. These reflection booklets explore 10 aspects of Sunday and includes Scripture, connection to the Mass, the Faith Tradition, and ways to live out the message.
Saturday, June 5, 2021 This event will acknowledge what we have accomplished and goals for the future, including launching future plans for this initiative.
