Fortnight for Freedom

A special time of prayer, education and public witness for our most cherished right of religious freedom.

Dioceses nationwide highlight religious liberty during the annual Fortnight for Freedom, June 21-July 4.

This 14-day period, running from the vigil of the Feasts of St. John Fisher and St. Thomas More to Independence Day, is dedicated to this “fortnight for freedom”, a great hymn of prayer for our country.

Dioceses and parishes around the country have scheduled special events that support a great national campaign of teaching and witness for religious liberty.
