Dental Care in the Dominican Republic

Dental Care in the Dominican Republic

Thank you to the Catholic Community Foundation funds which have allowed children in the Dominican Republic to receive dental care at the clinic in the community of La Sagrada Familia. In late June, thirty children from La Sagrada Familia's communities; Altagracia, Cañada de Piedra, and Galindo visited the dentist for the first time. One mother spoke on behalf of several parents and expressed gratitude for the ability to receive dental care for their children.

“It is a good thing and a blessing to have our children visiting the dentist. Unfortunately, we don’t have the resources to take our children to the dentist. We want to thank the La Sagrada Familia Parish for this help and all their help to our children.”
