New: Boy Scout Youth Protection and Archdiocesan Safe Environment Requirements Change
As of July 1, 2020, Boy Scout (BSA) abuse prevention training will no longer be accepted as an alternative way to meet the archdiocesan requirement of attendance at a live safe environment education session. This means that any employee or volunteer in the parish/school that has previously met this requirement through BSA must attend a live safe environment training in our archdiocese to continue volunteering/working at the parish. Questions? Please contact your parish or school if you are unsure of what requirements you need to meet.

Celebration of Catholic Scouting - Canceled
Saturday, April 18, 2020
In light of the current coronavirus situation, the Celebration of Catholic Scouting is canceled. In the meantime, we pray for the health and well-being of all our scouting families and for people everywhere during these challenging times.
Fees will be refunded to any families that have already registered for the event. Adult awardees and Scouts who earned religious emblems will be invited to next year’s Celebration and recognized then.
The archdiocesan Catholic Committees on Scouting promote the emblems and medals, offer retreats and activities, and provide adult leader training and awards.
The Office of Catechesis promotes scouting as youth ministry, and serves as the authorized source for religious emblems and medals for Catholic scouts in southeastern Wisconsin.
