The Office for Information Systems is responsible for the computer related activities of the archdiocese, including systems design, project management, system support, and electronic communication. Some of the departments' duties are:

  • Maintaining the archdiocesan Web site and e-mail system.
  • Servicing computer hardware and software at Archbishop Cousins Catholic Center.
  • Providing technology resources for the central offices, parishes, schools and other affiliated organizations.

The Office for Information Systems, or IS as it know around the arch, has created numerous resources designed to help individuals, schools and parishes of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee function in today's high-tech world.

Most recently, the office undertook the task of redoing the 12-year-old archdiocesan Web site. IS coordinated the collaborative effort which involved all Central Offices of the archdiocese. Concepts were rethought, the look was redesigned and information was updated to improve the end user experience of Catholics in southeastern Wisconsin. On December 23, 2009, the revamped site was revealed.
