Archbishop Jerome E. Listecki has appointed the following members to the Archdiocesan Synod Implementation Commission (ASIC). ASIC is the oversight commission consisting of clergy, religious and lay faithful who will be advising Archbishop Listecki regarding the Synod implementation process.

SR. ANDREA ANDRZEJEWSKA

I grew up in Poland, joined the Dominican Sisters Congregation there and since my arrival to the U.S. in 2000 have been a member of the Dominican Sisters, Immaculate Conception Province. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management from Marquette University in 2004 and completed the Long Term Care Administration Program at Ottawa University in Brookfield before returning to Poland to complete my religious formation and profess my final vows on August 8, 2005. When I returned to Milwaukee, I completed examinations for a nursing home administrator license and in 2006 was appointed the nursing home administrator at St. Ann Rest Home in Milwaukee.  In 2013, I earned a Master’s Degree in Leadership Studies and Health Care Administration Specialization. Providing quality care to the elderly is my passion. 

JEANNE BITKERS

I am currently the Chairperson of the St. Dominic Parish - Sheboygan Pastoral Council, the Principal of Shepherd of the Hills Catholic School - Eden and the Vice-Chairperson of the Archdiocesan Pastoral Council. I am a graduate of Mount Mary University, a Doctoral Candidate at Cardinal Stritch University, and completed requirements for a Certificate in Lay Ministry and the Preaching Institute at St. Francis Seminary. I was a Teacher, Principal and Superintendent in the Sheboygan Area School District, the first Chairperson of the Milwaukee Archdiocesan Pastoral Council, the Chair of the Task Force on the Role of Women in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, and a member of the 1987 Archdiocesan Synod Coordinating Committee.

FR. PHILLIP BOGACKI

I was born in Milwaukee, attended Saint Roman grade school, Pius XI High School, and Marquette University, graduating with a major in accounting. I attended seminary at the American College of the Immaculate Conception in Louvain, Belgium, taking classes at the Catholic University of Louvain. I serve as pastor of Christ King Parish in Wauwatosa, following an assignment as associate pastor at Saint John Vianney Parish in Brookfield. I also serve in various capacities in the archdiocese, including Dean of District 12.

GABRIELA CABRERA

I am from Guadalajara, México. I hold a degree in (Business) Administration from the University of Guadalajara, in Mexico. I work on a full-time basis as a Director of Religious Education at St. Patrick's Parish in Racine, WI. I have a Master's degree in Lay Ministry from Cardinal Stritch University and teach a Theology of Church class at Cardinal Stritch in the Saturday Program for Lay Ministries for Spanish Speakers.  I was on the Synod Preparatory Commission.

BRENDA CLINE

I have been the Parish Director of St. Joseph in Grafton since May of 2011. Prior to that appointment, I served for 11 years as Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry at St. Joe’s. I have an undergraduate degree in music from UW-Stevens Point, and both a Masters in Management and a Masters in Ministry from Cardinal Stritch University. I enjoy playing the saxophone as part of our parish music ministry, traveling (for fun, and on youth mission trips!), and spending time with family and friends.

BISHOP JEFFREY HAINES

Since being ordained to the priesthood in 1985, I have served in parish ministry with placements in Milwaukee, Fox Point, Whitewater and West Bend. My current assignment is Rector and Pastor of the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist began in June of 2011. I was on the Synod Preparatory Commission.

DEACON MARK JANSEN

I was born and raised in the West Bend area and worked on a family farm. After my graduation from West Bend High School, I attended Tech College, worked at Gehl Co in West Bend and then from 1973 – 2002 had a law enforcement career at the Washington County Sheriff Department and attained the rank of Operations Captain. I attended St. Francis Seminary and was ordained to the permanent deaconate on June 9, 2007.  My Diaconate ministry has been at Holy Angels, West Bend and in addition, I am currently serving as the president of the Deacon Senate. Jane and I have been married for 39 years. We have three grown children and two grandchildren whom I enjoy spending time with.  I enjoy playing racquet ball, watching sports, studying liturgy, spiritual reading, along with watching movies with Jane. (Order is random, not in order of importance!!)

TONYA JOHNSON

I am the Director of Administrative Services at All Saints Catholic Church of Milwaukee. My work in parish administration began in 1999.  Born and raised in Milwaukee, I am a graduate of Mount Mary University and St. Francis de Sales Seminary’s Lay Ministry Certificate Division, Milwaukee. I have a Master’s Degree in the Science of Management, from the School of Business and Management at Cardinal Stritch University, Milwaukee. Over the years, I have served in a variety of capacities in lay ministry. I enjoy music, art, travel and spending time with my family, especially my niece and nephews.

SR. MARIANNE KEMPA, SSND

I am a School Sister of Notre Dame and am currently serving as a Pastoral Minister for about 125 of our retired Sisters at our Health Care facility in Elm Grove. I loved teaching kindergarten and primary grades, as well as, being a principal of a K3 thru 8th at a Catholic grade school. I have had wonderful opportunities to serve on parish staffs as the Director of Human Concerns, Stewardship and Evangelization and as a Pastoral Associate and Minister of Pastoral Care. Prior to my current ministry, I was the Coordinator for Ministry Services for our SSND community, overseeing our sponsored, co-sponsored and supported ministries throughout the United States and Guam.

CINDI PETRE

My name is Cindi Petre and I am the Director of High School and Family Ministry at St. Anthony on the Lake parish in Pewaukee. I have been a part of the Faith Formation team for the past 12 years. Parts of my responsibilities include teen Confirmation preparation, designing and implementing our parish Family Program, and working on a team to plan mission trips and service opportunities.  I have also worked or volunteered in religious education programs and ministries in various states across the country for over 20 years. My formal background is in Special Education but I soon found a passion in church ministry. Mark, my husband of 37 years and I, have been a FOCCUS couple for almost 30 years and we have also helped plan and execute Engaged Encounter Retreats to help prepare couples for marriage in the Catholic Church. Mark and I have six children and five grandchildren adding to the wealth of experiences I have been able to bring to my youth and family ministry career.

RANDY RICHARD

I retired from John Deere Company after 35 years of service, 28 of which were in Customer Support and the remaining 7 in Sales and Marketing. I didn’t realize retirement was in my immediate plans until my parish pastor asked me to get involved with Evangelization, I retired several months later! I helped conduct our parish Synod meetings and have been involved in the Synod process ever since.  I was born and raised in Southwest WI, one of twelve children from wonderful Catholics parents. I have over 200 post high school credits focusing on Mechanics, Business & Administration and accounting. My wife, Kate, and I have been married for 25 years; have three daughters and two grandchildren.
