In January 2021, a theological reflection and study guide entitled, The Gift of Sunday, was “published with the ecclesiastical approval of Archbishop Jerome E. Listecki, for use in catechesis and prayerful reflection with the People of God in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.”
On Wednesday, March 3, 2021, Lenten Missions based on The Gift of Sunday will be held at 18 parishes throughout the archdiocese. Due to limited seating, people are asked to register in advance and will be accepted on a first-come first serve basis. Thank you for your understanding.
The Lenten Mission in English at St. James, Menomonee Falls led by Bishop Jeffrey Haines and the Mission in Spanish at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, Milwaukee led by Bishop James Schuerman will be live streamed.

The Gift of Sunday Lenten Mission Wednesday, March 3, 2021 – 7:00-8:30 pm Parish Name & Address Mission Presenter: Priest’s Name
Parish Name will be hosting one of 18 Lenten Missions taking place throughout the archdiocese on the evening of March 3, 2021. This Mission is based on The Gift of Sunday, a theological reflection issued by Archbishop Jerome Listecki. The evening will be held in the context of a prayer service and will highlight the importance of Sunday Mass in living out our faith on a daily basis.
