Mandatory Reporting Responsibilities

In the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, all clergy, staff, and volunteers working with children are trained in how recognize the signs of abuse and where to report abuse. All adults in our parishes or schools are expected to follow mandatory reporting responsibilities for any suspected physical or sexual abuse of minors, whether or not designated as a mandatory reporter under Wisconsin law. Any threat of school or parish violence should be immediately reported to the local law enforcement agency by calling 911.
