Dear Friends,
It saddens me to acknowledge that another Wisconsin Summer has come and gone. I hope it was a restful and joyous few months for you! Even as I begrudgingly say good-bye to Summer, I'm excited for the new beginnings that Fall brings, too. I hope you are, as well!
One particular thing our office is working on this year is helping parishes learn about all the Marriage & Family-support ministries that exist in our Archdiocese. We know many of them, but some we do not! If you are connected to or know of a ministry or apostolate that supports marriages or families anywhere in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, please connect us! We'd love to invite them to this collaboration and get to know them.
As we turn towards another school year, please know that we're praying for you and here to support you!

Do you need facilitators trained for pre-marital inventory work with your engaged couples? We will be offering in-person training for the Prepare-Enrich inventory for new facilitators.
- Saturday, September 20, 8am-1pm at Mary Mother of the Church Pastoral Center
*Facilitators can be individuals or a couple. The price is the same for either.

The Archdiocese of Milwaukee Invites couples celebrating their 25th (silver) Anniversary, 50th (golden) Anniversary and those married over 50 years to a Special Mass. This year's Jubilee Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 25 at 10AM at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 1441 W. Oakwood Rd., Oak Creek, WI 53154. Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop Jeffrey S. This special collaboration with Authentic Birth Center will provide an introduction to the basics of charting the female cycle. At this workshop you will learn the science behind how fertility functions, how cycle charting can be used confidently for Natural Family Planning during postpartum, while breastfeeding, and as menstrual cycles return. We'll also learn how cycle charting can be used to support health, self-knowledge, and assist in addressing the root cause of cycle dysfunction or infertility. Explore the different charting methods available, learn to pick the best one for you, and how to find a certified teacher.

Menopause occurs between age 45-55 for many women. Perimenopause is the 10 years prior to menopause. During this transitional time women experience shifting menstrual cycle patterns and fertility.
Whether you're already noticing cycle changes or are just looking ahead: this event will equip you to navigate perimenopause with confidence and positivity! If you are 35+ grab a sister or a friend and join us.
You'll learn:
- how fertility and cycle patterns change after age 35
- the stages of perimenopause
- charting signs to look for
- how to use NFP with confidence and clarity during perimenopause
- and more!

This year we are adding a weekend retreat to our schedule, giving engaged couples three opportunities to spend a full weekend preparing for their marriage! Retreats offer couples the same content as our online Joy-Filled Marriage course, but with extended time for discussion, opportunities to receive the sacraments, and of course, in-person community with other couples.
Spots fill quickly, so please make sure your engaged couples know this option for their marriage preparation!

- A Day of Healing: Beyond Divorce | October 18 in Waukesha | Explore divorce in a deeper, gentler way, including presentations that guide you in a relationship with yourself, with God, and with others.
- Healing the Whole Person: Into the Deep | October 22-26 in Waukesha| This retreat will help participants understand their wounds and bring them to the Lord for healing through prayer and the sacraments.
