One% Challenge Resources

The One% ChallengeTM is to help you get to know Jesus by taking one percent of your day to pray with Scripture for 30 days. One percent of your day is 14 minutes and 24 seconds, which is less than the average minutes of commercials in a one hour TV program. Experience the difference when you spend one percent of your day alone with God in an uninterrupted quiet time of prayer.

Post-Game Review

Order Form

The Office of Evangelization continues to explore new ways to serve parishes in their task of helping people connect personally to Jesus and grow in a lifestyle of discipleship. This is our shared mission: “Go and Make Disciples!” (Matthew 28: 16-20) To that end I am happy to announce our newest resource: “The Post-Game Review!” These striking double-sided full color cards are designed to help people see how Jesus is alive and working in their daily lives.

Based on the model of how football teams review post-game films to review highlights and diagnose missed opportunities, these cards are a modern take on the traditional Ignatian Examen to help people connect to Jesus and make a new daily game plan for their lives. Just in time for the fall football season, these beautiful bible bookmark cards are available to parishes at no cost in both English and Spanish.

Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation is a key element of the New Evangelization. It evangelizes the evangelizers through a personal encounter with Christ and His mercy. The information and resources on this page support the Season of Lent and the celebration of the Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation in the parish setting.

  • Reading Blogs and Watching Videos as a Lenten Resolution — Catholics from throughout the Archdiocese are invited to pursue Lenten spiritual growth by reading the "Catholic ID" Video Blog and by watching the C4 Ignite Your Catholic Faith Videos.

  • Find a Confession — Catholics from throughout the Archdiocese are invited to experience a personal encounter with the mercy of God through the Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation.

  • Review the Reconciliation Card or bring it with you when you go to confession. English | Spanish
