4th/5th Grade Teacher

  • Maintain a safe and faith-filled classroom
  • Organize and prepare curriculum for students
  • Incorporate technology to effectively create 21st century learning environments within the classroom
  • Lead daily prayer and participate in school liturgies
  • Supervise and assist students as needed
  • Communicate professionally and in a timely manner with parents
  • Evaluate and grade student work
  • Collaborate with other staff members and principal in the planning and development of curriculum
  • Participate in all school functions, including fundraisers
  • Supervise students during lunch, recess duty and end of day as assigned

Qualifications

  • Current teaching license
  • Practicing Catholic
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education
  • Completion of background check and Safe Environment training prior to employment
  • Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication, writing and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Google Suite and technology in general
