The position requires that the applicant plan and implement lessons for the children. Creating an atmosphere which is fosters creativity, interactive learning, self-awareness and the ability to work and play well with others is essential. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with other members of the kindergarten team are necessary. Excellent communication skills are most important as the teacher at this level serves as a knowledgeable, positive and inviting individual both to parents and prospective families.
Qualifications
The applicant for this teaching position must have a Bachelor’s Degree. Experience at the early childhood level is preferred. In addition, the applicant must have completed or arrange to complete the Safe Environment education session.
