School Description: Catholic Memorial High School, grades 9-12, is a regional, Catholic High School of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. Position Description: CMH is looking for a dynamic, collaborative individual for a full-time PLTW Engineering Teaching position in the 2024-25 school year. This candidate must be able to teach in the areas of Introduction to Engineering Design and Principles of Engineering. Project Lead the Way certification and professional engineering experience is preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop instructional goals, activities, and assessments in an active, differentiated classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the Innovation and Professional Studies Department in developing curriculum and common assessments, in conjunction with the PLTW / Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction State Standards.
- Use technology to regularly update assignments and assessments online through the student learning management system as required.
- Communicate effectively with parents to convey student academic and social progress.
- Pursue professional growth opportunities to improve teacher practice and student achievement.
- Fully participate in the life of the school, including in-services, faith formation, and faculty/student retreats
- Be in compliance with, and support of school polices as indicated in the Personnel Handbook and Student Planner
