Qualifications

As a primary Art Teacher at Burlington Catholic, candidates are required to: 

• Have a valid teaching license to teach Art or a willingness to complete a plan of study to gain appropriate licensure  

• Experience working with students at the primary age

• Have a passion for Art and Art History

• Create student-driven, age appropriate lessons that follow the Archdiocesan exit expectations

• Have a willingness to collaborate with colleagues 

• Have strong communication skills

• Be comfortable with implementing technology in one’s teaching and / or willingness to learn (online grading, email, etc.)

• Have certification in (or willingness to get) Safeguarding All God’s People
